Who knew art leads to technology!

So after mostly having our children raised, I decided to take a couple of art classes and was gifted some oil paints. Painting with oils is something I had a desire to try in the back of my mind, but really decided it was better to mess with that kind of thing at one time...

  • after toddlers curiosities and "finger painting" were past! ( Recalling my daughter and two of the nieces in my sister in laws shower covered in her makeup as I type!)

  • the need for focus and zoom on a project would also take me out of my parenting responsibilities for hours. (Not cool!!)

  • I also knew I would want something to fill my time as the kids were leaving the nest and I am NOT a quilter or scrap booker, although I greatly admire people who do those things!

So with those things changing, I learned and painted a few things, some just intrigued me, like HOW does one paint...frost, bubbles, a steamy mug? Some images just take my breath away, some speak to my heart, some are my heart crying out for understanding, joy, you get the picture!

So with some of those paintings being enjoyed by others, I began to make little notecards and sell them. This has been a learning about all that is involved in making, printing, packaging and selling. Soon folks were asking to see my products on a web site. So, learning again, here I am! As my Mom passed out cards to her friends recently, I realized that there is shared joy in this journey that God is blessing....I get to paint, someone appreciates the art and cards, then sends them to someone else to brighten their day! Thank you for being curious and checking out the site!
